The Bogatinoff´s Residence
It makes me very proud to know from my client Pete Bogatinoff that the house I'm building for them is going to be their last abode.
This two story home is 3,636 Sq. Ft., the upper level has 2 master bedrooms with full baths and walk-in closets, with a beautifull balcony facing the swimming pool and rancho; without forgetting the scenic mountain views.
The lower level has the main living area with high vaulted ceilings, an open kitchen with breakfast bar, granite countertops, top of the line faucets. The living room opens to a arched terrace that gives a mediterranean feel keeping in style with the rustic clay tiles on the roof and rancho.
Access to the swimming pool can be from both the terrace and rancho, this pool has an integrated water fountain feature at two of its corner, which enhances the whole outdoor experience.

Ken Deaton Spec Home
One of 3 current projects at the Hacienda Atenas Community, the Ken Deaton Spec House is a 2, 191 square foot two story home. The first floor encloses the main accommodations, a large guestroom, bath and walk in closet. Adjacent you’ll find the kitchen, living room, and guest bath and laundry room. Up the stairs you come to an office next to the master suite with full bath and walk in closet. The upper story takes advantage of views with an outdoor terrace big enough for sitting and relaxing. The lower story also includes a covered terrace accessible from the living room that leads to the pool. A charming home with quality and design built for full Costarican lifestyle enjoyment.

New Year, New Projects
Casa Alto Monte
We have kicked off our new year! We have begun construction on a new project located 2 miles north of downtown Atenas. Casa Alto Monte is 1590 sq ft and has stunning views to the central valley basin.
The home enters through a foyer to the great room and open kitchen. The dining and living room open with sliding doors to a covered porch. To both sides of this area you'll find the bedrooms. Both include full bathrooms with showers and walk-in closets. Both bedrooms have sliding doors that access the porch and pool area.
The home also has an office room and a washroom equipped for American style washer and dryer plus a wash sink. The pool is 290 sq ft large and is bordered by a stone sidewalk that connects to the house by the porch. The house and pool are surrounded by vast tropical vegetation and it has been designed to incorporate all possible views.
Inversiones Sibaja strives to innovate both in design and functionality, letting show that small spaces can also mean great comfort.
Our latest work
Inversiones Sibaja is glad to announce the soon completion of one of its largest projects to date. Located in the gated community of Hacienda Atenas and measuring 4976.5 square feet, this home has become one of Atenas prime developments and one of our most noteworthy constructions yet.
This home enters trough a elegant covered pass way, to the right two guestrooms with full baths located to face breathtaking mountain and Pacific Ocean views; adjacent is the dining room set in Tamarindo wood floor boards, beyond the dining room hall the home descends one level to an open kitchen with an island centerpiece. It opens up further to a 360 degree view living room with bi-folding doors in Cedar wood to welcome the outside in.
Open stairs in the dining area lead to the master suite placed on the second story. The ample bedroom has a balcony view large enough to use as a sitting area to contemplate the view to the Central Valley. The master bath includes a hand-made stone tub and counter vessel sinks, as well as the guest baths in the first level.
The house is built with vaulted ceilings with Teak beams and Laurel tongue and groove board. Floor finishes include porcelain tile, a local tamarindo hard wood, and polished stone. Multi-colored roof tile gives the home an authentic rustic style; and stone veneers envelop the structure to give it a vintage feel like no other.
Finally the outside living space includes a pool area with both a 60 foot long lap pool next to a 678 sqft lounge pool with a wide curved seat for relaxing and taking in the views.
